I never tell you if the storm is coming or going. That part belongs to you — and whatever you are carrying tonight.

If it is arriving, you are on bended knee — holding on to hope, bracing for what is larger than you. If it is leaving, you are on bended knee still — overwhelmed with gratitude for having just been spared.
